When most people picture winter in Vail, they imagine perfectly groomed alpine runs, deep powder, chairlifts climbing toward the Gore Range, and skiers carving their way down Vail Mountain. But there is another side of winter here that is quieter, more peaceful, and every bit as beautiful.
